Career Planning
We get to know you: your goals, availability, transportation, likes and dislikes, sensitivities, and any barriers to employment, plus how to overcome them.
Employment services for individuals with IDD
We help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ages 16 and up, find work they enjoy and keep it for the long term, with person-centered support at every step.
Our mission
At Elevate 4:14, we work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to find the best fit for long-term success in employment.
We take the time to get to know each person and tailor our services to their needs, so the jobs we help people find match both what they need and what they want.
More about us →What we do
From figuring out what kind of work you'd enjoy to staying successful once you're hired, we're with you along the way.
We get to know you: your goals, availability, transportation, likes and dislikes, sensitivities, and any barriers to employment, plus how to overcome them.
Creating or updating your resume, searching for jobs that match your wants and needs, applying, following up on applications, and preparing for interviews.
We advocate for you to get interviews and offers, make sure the job is a good fit before you accept, and talk with managers about any accommodations you'll need on day one.
On-the-job support to make sure you're fully trained, completing tasks to standard, and building natural support connections with coworkers.
Help getting and keeping benefits such as SSDI and food assistance, and understanding exactly how working will affect them, from certified Work Incentive Practitioners.
We check in with you and your employer to make sure everyone is satisfied, and provide accommodations, coaching, or extra training if anything needs attention.
